All’s well that ends well
Our team made hundreds of masks, and for each mask that you purchased we donated one to East Bay organizations serving communities in need, at a time when basic resources such as PPEs were scarce or inaccessible.
With that challenging period now behind, we’re again fully focused on our core business. Nzilani Glass Conservation is an award-winning art glass fabrication and conservation company based in Oakland, California. About the Nzilani Mask Project
When the Bay Area shelter-in-place order was announced in mid-March, 2020, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, we immediately started thinking about how to safely continue employing our staff while keeping people safe in the Bay Area & Beyond.
Nzilani’s core values are “Be Safe. Have Fun. Do Excellent Work.” We lead the stained glass industry in best practices for employee protection - so pivoting to making cloth masks seemed logical. Our crew eagerly stepped up to operate as an essential business, providing protection for those in need.
